Silly Antics

So, to try and coax Noah into eating some more protein, he was offered some chicken and mozzarella ravioli for dinner tonight.  No foolin' that smart kiddo, he knew it was a trick.  He playfully plucked all of the ravioli from the bowl and then, faster than you could blink, he upturned the remaining marinara sauce on top of his head!  Yep, a marinara munchkin who was promptly given a thorough bath.  Even in the bath his silly antics wouldn't stop.  I should mention that he is now nearly too tall for his infant bathtub and can raise his entire backside off the seat by simply straightening his legs.  After raising himself up and hovering for a few seconds, he looked coyly for approval (since he's always been told to stay seated in the bath) and then slowly lowered himself back down with that winning smile of his.  You would have think he'd just stolen the entire cookie jar; he looked so pleased.  It was difficult to keep a straight face as he boldly tested the waters, literally and figuratively.  Of course, then it quickly became a game and soon he was doing jumping jacks in the tub, water splashing everywhere.  If only I hadn't been blurry with tears of laughter, I probably would have filmed this new game.  So from now on, the camera is coming everywhere; even into the bathtub.
